Payouts to the UAE in AED

The UAE routes by IBAN, so there is no bank code to send. It is our one corridor for company senders, and the one where weekends shift timings.

What you pass in the request

A request with iban or virtual iban (ae…, 23 characters) goes to IBAN in UAE; the response comes back with the status: completed, typically within hours on a weekday.
  • Payouts

IBAN or virtual IBAN (AE…, 23 characters).

  • Sender identity

Sender: individual or company registration. Recipient name: required.

How the payout works

One field for the recipient

Pass the IBAN and the recipient’s name. We validate length, country prefix and check digits at creation, so a mistyped number is caught before money moves. Spaces are fine.

Business senders

A company registers with its legal name, date of incorporation and trade licence details. A mismatch with its registered name is refused during processing, later than a format error would be.

Timing

Instructions leave within the hour and typically arrive within a few hours on a weekday. Weekends are slower: receiving banks run maintenance windows we do not control.

Questions and answers

  • Do I need a bank code?

No. The IBAN identifies the bank.

  • Can a company send?

Yes. This is the corridor where business senders are supported.

  • Why is the weekend slower?

Receiving banks in the UAE run maintenance windows at weekends. Nothing is lost — arrival simply shifts.

  • Are fils supported?

    Yes, two decimal places.

  • What if the IBAN is wrong?

Format and check digits are validated at creation, so most errors are caught before the money moves.
