Banks and wallets on one rail

InstaPay connects banks and e-wallets as equals, so a transfer from a bank account to a GCash or Maya wallet is as quick as one between two banks. QR Ph codes are paid over the same rail.

What you send

The bank or wallet code from the directory we return, then an account number for a bank or the recipient’s phone number for a wallet, with the recipient’s name. Peso amounts allow two decimal places.

Questions and answers

  • Can a payout reach an e-wallet such as GCash or Maya?

Yes. Wallets share the directory with banks: pick the wallet's code and pass the recipient's phone number.
